CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Effective April 22, 2026. This policy explains how Aurelia subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when refunds are available. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Use.
1. Subscription Plans
Aurelia, operated by Cognimit Technologies LLP, offers a free tier (“Starter”) and paid subscription tiers (“Pro” and “Team”). Paid subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and are billed in advance through the app store from which you installed the app (the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), or another payment processor where expressly offered.
2. Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal amount is charged to the payment method held by the relevant app store. You can see and manage your renewal date in your app store account at any time.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because billing is handled by the app stores, cancellation is done in your store account:
- Android (Google Play):Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Aurelia → Cancel subscription.
- iOS (Apple): Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Aurelia → Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You must cancel through the store to stop renewals.
4. Refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed and controlled by those stores, and refunds for them are governed by the store's policies. We are not able to directly issue, process, or guarantee refunds for store purchases. To request one:
- Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund through the Google Play order history or Google Play support.
If you purchased directly from us through another payment processor (where offered), contact support@tryaurelia.app within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request in line with Section 5.
5. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy or our Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country.
- European Union / EEA & UK: you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content and services that begin immediately, you may be asked to consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that doing so ends the withdrawal right once the service has been fully provided. Where the right applies, we refund eligible amounts promptly.
- India: nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related rules.
- Elsewhere: mandatory local consumer rights continue to apply regardless of this policy.
6. Discretionary Refunds
Outside the store policies and your statutory rights, refunds are at our reasonable discretion. We may, for example, refund a duplicate charge, a charge caused by a verified technical fault that prevented use of paid features, or a renewal you contact us about promptly and in good faith. We generally do not refund for partially used periods, change of mind after a period has started, or failure to cancel before renewal.
7. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. Changes apply from your next billing period after reasonable notice. If you do not accept a new price, cancel before it takes effect; continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance of the new price.
8. Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. The subscription converts to paid at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.
