Cookies
COOKIE POLICY
Effective April 22, 2026. This Cookie Policy explains how Cognimit Technologies LLP (“Aurelia”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the tryaurelia.app website and in the mobile app, and how you can manage them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits (SDKs) in mobile apps, and advertising identifiers. We refer to all of these collectively as “cookies” in this policy.
2. How We Use Cookies
We aim to keep cookie use minimal. We group cookies into the following categories:
2.1 Strictly Necessary (always on)
- Essential site function: session continuity, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie-consent choice. These are required for the website to work and cannot be switched off.
2.2 Functional (consent-based)
- Preferences: remembering settings such as display region or currency on the pricing page, when you have enabled them.
2.3 Analytics (consent-based)
- Usage measurement: aggregated, privacy-respecting statistics about how the website is used, to help us improve it. We do not enable analytics cookies until you consent.
2.4 Advertising (mobile free tier only, consent-based)
- Google AdMob:the free tier of the mobile app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA) to serve and measure ads. On iOS this is gated by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. The website does not run advertising cookies.
3. Current Website Behavior
The tryaurelia.app marketing website currently uses only strictly necessary storage (including your consent choice) and does not load third-party analytics or advertising cookies by default. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, they will load only after you accept them through our consent banner.
4. Managing Your Choices
- Consent banner:when you first visit, you can accept all cookies or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's storage in your browser, after which the banner reappears.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Mobile ad controls:reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking), and respond to the iOS tracking prompt as you prefer.
5. More Information
For how we handle the personal data collected through these technologies, see our Privacy Policy. For Google's practices, see Google's cookie information.
6. Changes & Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology or law. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Questions: support@tryaurelia.app — Cognimit Technologies LLP, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
